Swimming Carnival
Hi guys,
Earlyer this week, it was the swimming carnival at my school, which is also the selction for the inter-school swimming carnival team, where other schools compete against each other.
The strokes I went in were: 25m freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and aquatic underarm (or doggy paddle). I came 1st in all these races, but in the 50m freestyle I came second.
I think I did pretty well.

Congratulations Laura!
Good on you. You are a winner no matter what, even if you don’t actually win because you tried your best. It’s alright you came 2nd in only one race, that’s okay. Look at the bright side, you won MANY!!!!
I’m happy for you… you won so many races. It would seem you are a very talented swimmer. Is it your hobby? I like swimming too, though races make me all nervous…
yes, you did EXTREMELY WELL!
In races, I come 3rd always. Sadly. But that’s good enough for me.
Good luck in your future Swimming Races. You might one day represent Australia in the Olympics! Who knows?

My dream is to go to the Olympics, but it takes so much work and commitment, and lots of talent.
